Twila Marie Coleman

Twila Marie (McEwen) Coleman died January 05, 2017 at her son's home in Woodward, OK. Memorial services will be held Sunday, January 22, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Cole's Campground United Methodist Church in Murray, KY with Rev. Steven Howe officiating.

Twila was born August 30, 1931 in Cimarron, New Mexico to Abe Glenn McEwen and Marie Lockett McEwen. She spent her childhood in Dolores, Colorado graduating there in 1949.

In 1951 she was married to Zane Coleman in Phoenix, AZ. They made their home in the Murray area where she lived until a few weeks prior to her passing. Over the years, Twila was employed by Murray IGA, Furches Jewelry, and Murray Co-op. She also worked as a volunteer several years at the Angel's Attic Thrift Shop.

Twila was preceded in death by: her parents, husband Zane, daughter Phyllis, three sisters, two brothers and grandson Tracy Coleman.

Surviving are sons Steven Zane Coleman and wife Sonya of Woodward, OK and Michael Dwain Coleman and wife Karen of Murray. Also grandchildren, Steven Zane Coleman Jr. and wife Jen, Eric Coleman and Sharly, Karman (Stipp) Krohmer and husband Kevin, Derek Stipp and Sarah. She is also survived by seven greatgranchildren.

Twila was a member of Cole's Campground United Methodist Church. She was also a member of Murray Star Chapter #433.
