Valley Miller

Mrs. Valley L. Galloway Miller, age 99 of Greenville South Carolina, formerly of Murray, KY, died Friday, April 1, 2011, at 11:46 p.m. at the National Health Care in Greenville, South Carolina. Ms. Miller was born in Murray, KY, February 2, 1912, to the late Scudder and Rela Galloway. She graduated from Lyn Grove High School and moved to Detroit, Michigan where she proudly worked for Ford Motor Company for 41 years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Bonnie Miller, son, Joe Hal Miller, sister, Jetty Houston and three brothers, Alvah, Taz, and Burnett Galloway.
She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Mary Ann Miller of Greenville, SC; three grandchildren, Michelle (Scott) Bushey of Greenville, SC, Megan (Mark) Brown of Casheirs, NC, and Mark (Teri) Miller, currently of London, England; great-grandchildren, Rachel and Suzanne Bushey and Joseph and Katherine Miller; brother, Billie Nat (Virginia) Galloway of Almo, KY; as well as three nephews and four nieces.
Graveside services will be held Friday, April 8, 2011, at 9:00 a.m. at the Murray Memorial Gardens in Murray, KY. Bro Howard Welch will officiate. Visitation will be held Thursday, April 7, 2011, from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home.
