Verta Boyle

Mrs. Verta Boyle, age 98, of Murray, Kentucky died Sunday, March 24, 2019, at her home.
Mrs. Boyle was born on October 18, 1920, in Stewart County, Tennessee to the late Sam Newberry and Lucy Robinson Newberry. She was retired from Boone Cleaners and was member of the Glendale Road Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Boyle; one son, Keith Boyle; two grandchildren, Terry Garner and Darren Garner; and five siblings.
Survivors include one daughter, Jewell Garner of Murray, Kentucky; one son, Johnny Newberry of Murray, Kentucky; one sister, Beatrice Poyner of Murray, Kentucky; five grandchildren, Roger Garner and special friend Danielle Conway, Kevin Garner and wife Belinda, Cameron Boyle, Megan Leigh and husband Ryan, and Ashley Leadingham and husband Jordyn; six great-grandchildren, Austin Garner, Kelcey Garner, Taila Garner, Alyssa Kelly and husband Chris, Blake Boyle, and Xander Leadingham; three great-great grandchildren, Jaxton Cashion, Rylee Taylor, and Kaelynn Kelly; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Wednesday, March 27, 2019, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with burial following in the Murray City Cemetery. John Dale, Garry Evans, and Steven Hunter will officiate. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., on Wednesday, March 27, 2019, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home.
