Mrs. Virgie L. McKnight, age 69, of Murray, Kentucky, died, Monday, December 10, 2012 at Murray Calloway County Hospital.
She was born May 18, 1943 in Poplar Bluff, Mo., to the late Virgil and Katherine Mobley Pickett. She was retired from Mattel.
Survivors include her husband, John Edward McKnight of Murray; they married June 16, 1960, in Doniphan, Mo., one daughter, Tammy Johnston and husband Darren of Murray, Ky., two sons, Gary McKnight and wife Rita of Aurora, Ky., Dewayne McKnight and wife Janet of Hazel, Ky., also three grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Betty Pickett, and one brother, John Pickett.
Graveside services will be held 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at the Stewart Cemetery. A meal will be provided by the University Church of Christ immediately following burial. No public visitation will be held. The J.H. Churchill Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
