Mrs. Virginia Pogue, age 98, of Murray, Kentucky, died, Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at Spring Creek Health Care.
She was retired from Calloway County Garment Factory; she was a member of the First Baptist Church of Murray.
She was born in Graves County Kentucky on December 20, 1914 to the late Bernard and Lola Ford Kesterson. In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by husband, Fred W. Pogue; three sisters, Rebecca Morgan, Ruth Calhoun and Katherine Evans.
She is survived by one daughter, Judy Hooper and husband James of Murray, Kentucky. Two grandchildren, four great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren also survive.
Graveside services will be held 3:30 pm Saturday, March 9, 2013 in the Murray Memorial Gardens. Rev. Kerry Lambert will officiate. Visitation will be held Friday, March 8, 2013 from 5:00 – 8:00 pm at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home.
