Virginia R. Vaughn

Mrs. Virginia R. Vaughn, age 81, of Murray, Kentucky, died Sunday, December 17, 2017 at the Spring Creek Health Care in Murray.
Mrs. Vaughn was born April 29, 1936 in South Bend, Indiana, to the late Carl Krathwohl and Ruth Hittle Krathwohl. She was a retired Nursing assistant at Spring Creek Health Care, and was of the Pentecostal faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Earl F. Vaughn; sister, Carleen Miller.
Survivors include one daughter, Patricia Copeland and husband Austin of Murray, Kentucky; two sons, Dennis Vaughn of Dexter, Kentucky, and Carl Krathwohl of South Bend, Indiana; five grandchildren, Shelia Roberts and husband Willie of Murray, Kentucky, Opal Copeland of Murray, Kentucky, Angie Ferrell and husband George of South Carolina, Tony Vaughn and wife Tammy of North Carolina, and Chloe Krathwohl of South Bend, Indiana; seven great grandchildren, local great grandchildren, Chauncy Roberts and Chaney Roberts both of Murray, Kentucky.
Graveside services will be held 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at the Shiloh Cemetery. Rev. Elijah Balentine will officiate. Visitation will be held from 11a.m. till 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home.
