Vonnie Lee Hicks

Ms. Vonnie Lee Hicks, age 97, of Murray, Kentucky, died on Saturday, September 26, 2020, at Lakeway Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Benton, Kentucky.
Ms. Hicks was born in Trigg County, Kentucky (L.B.L.) on December 6, 1922, to the late Floyd Hicks and Necie (Compton) Hicks. Ms. Hicks was a homemaker and was of the Pentecostal faith.
In addition to her parents, Ms. Hicks was preceded in death by one sister, Mildred Ramsey; two brothers, Woodrow Hicks and Odell Hicks; as well as by three grandchildren.
Ms. Hicks is survived by one daughter, Barbara E. Hodges of Murray; one son, Jerry W. Eldridge of Murray; four grandchildren, Bryant Hodges, Eric Hodges, Heather Bailey, and Makayla Eldridge; and by three great-grandchildren, Haley Hodges, Austin Bailey, and Kaden Bailey.
There will be no public visitation or service. A private family service will be held at a later date.
