Wanda Lou Boyd, 86, of Murray Kentucky, died Saturday, October 14, 2017 at the Anna Mae Owen Residential Hospice in Murray.
She retired from the city of Hazel Park, Michigan where she served as a city accountant and deputy assessor. She was a long-time member of Glendale Road Church of Christ and attended South Pleasant Grove UMC.
Mrs. Boyd was proceeded in death by her father William Sanders Lamb and mother Gertrude Farmer Lamb, Her sister Imogene Lamb McReynolds, and her loving husband of 60 years, Hazle Lee Boyd.
Mrs. Boyd is survived by her four children, Terry Lee Boyd (Murray, KY), Larry Boyd (FL), Darryl Wayne Boyd (Sandy Springs, GA), Jeanice Hope Hamilton and Son-in-law Marvin Hamilton (Phoenix, AZ), six grandchildren Randal L. Boyd, Ryan L. Okalski, Chad M. Boyd, Jaclyn F. Boyd, Heather N. LaBrie, Rachel K. Boyd, and five great-grandchildren Cassandra Verran, Kali Kinsman, Kase March-LaBrie, Jula and Henry Okalski, and two great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with John Dale officiating. Visitation will be held prior to the funeral service on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 from 4:30 p.m. until service hour (7:00 p.m.) at the funeral home. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at the South Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
