Wanda Lou Colson Craig

Mrs. Wanda Lou Colson Craig, age 76, of Buchanan, Tennessee, died on Saturday, November 6, 2021, at the Murray – Calloway County Hospital.

Mrs. Craig was born October 25, 1945, in Murray, Kentucky, to the late Eury Colson and Ruby Kirk Colson. Wanda worked at the Holley Carburetor Plant in Paris, Tennessee and retired from Fisher-Price Mattel. She was a member of the Point Pleasant Baptist Church. She loved flowers, gardening, and was a great cook.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Noble Ray Craig; sister, Betty Underhill; two brothers, Harold Colson and Terry Lynn Colson; and niece, Teresa Colson James.

Survivors include one son, James Ray Craig of Buchanan, Tennessee; special friend, Joe Dedman of Buchanan, Tennessee; four sisters, Edna Colson Underhill of Murray, Kentucky, Patsy Colson Hutson of Murray, Kentucky, Maxine Colson Woods of Murray, Kentucky, and Maddie Colson Flatt and husband Tim of Murray, Kentucky; two grandchildren, April Lovett-McKnight and husband Justin of Murray, Kentucky and David Lovett Jr. of McKenzie, Tennessee; three great grandchildren, Jordan McKnight, Skylar Barniville, and Jylar McKnight all of Murray.

Graveside services will be held at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, November 13, 2021, at the New Liberty Cemetery. Michael James will officiate, and burial will follow. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. till 11:30 a.m., Saturday, November 13, 2021, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
