Wanda Jean Miles

Mrs. Wanda Jean Miles, 82, of Corinth, Texas, formerly of Murray, Kentucky was surrounded by her family, and called to the arms of her Lord and Savior on Monday, July 15, 2013 at Autumn Oaks Assisted Living in Corinth, Texas.
Mrs. Miles was born in Calloway County Kentucky on February 16, 1931 to the late Benjamin Kirtley Trevathan and Myrtle Roberts Trevathan. Mrs. Miles retired from the Murray – Calloway County Parks System and was a member of the Locust Grove Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents Mrs. Miles was preceded in death by her husband Bob L. Miles; and her first husband Kenneth P. Morris; and by two sisters, Kathleen Culpepper and Dorothy Harris.
Mrs. Miles is survived by two daughters, Sheila Hall and husband Mike of Springfield, Illinois and Jill Manderfeld and husband Fred of Double Oak, Texas; one son, Mark Morris and wife Michelle of Kincaid, Illinois; two step sons, Darren Miles and wife Cynthia of Plano, Texas and David Miles of Murray, Kentucky; two brother in laws, Norman Culpepper of Jackson, Tennessee and Marvin Harris of Murray, Kentucky; eight grandchildren, Aaron Pasbrig, Halleh Harkness and husband Jesse, Sam Forestier, Kacee Hall, Danny and Morgan Morris, and Kenneth and Raegan Manderfeld; as well as five great grandchildren, Brianna, Heather and Grace Pasbrig, Brian Rabideau and Cyrus Harkness.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Locust Grove Baptist Church with Brother Hal Shipley officiating. Burial will follow in the Murray City Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 26, 2013 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home.
