Wanda S. Millard

Mrs. Wanda S. Millard, age 78, of Almo, Kentucky, died on Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at the Murray-Calloway County Hospital in Murray, Kentucky.

Mrs. Millard was born in Chicago, Illinois on October 30, 1944. She was a homemaker and a childcare provider.

Mrs. Millard was preceded in death by her father, Harry Bessent; mother, Inez Insco Hose, step-mother, Brooksie Bessent; her husband, Chester Millard; one son, Steven Millard; and by one brother, Bob Bessent.

Survivors include two sons, Danny Millard and wife Carol of Murray, Kentucky and Jerry Millard and wife Melissa of Almo, Kentucky; one sister-in-law, Barbara Bessent of Champlin, Minnesota; one brother, Rick Bessent and wife Dodi of Zanesville, Ohio; two grandchildren, Ashley Scarbrough and husband Levi and Crystal Villaflor and husband Eric all of Murray, Kentucky; as well as three great-grandchildren, Zoey Villaflor, Ava Scarbrough, and Mya Scarbrough all of Murray, Kentucky.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Sunday, December 18, 2022, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home & Cremation Services. Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m., on Sunday, December 18, 2022, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
