Wanda Sue Stone

              Wanda Sue Stone, 85, of Kirksey, KY passed away on December 16, 2023, at Oakview Nursing and Rehab. She was born on November 30, 1938, in Calloway County to James and Reubene Tucker Robertson.

            She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Eugene Robertson; and one nephew, Darren Robertson.

            Wanda is survived by her husband of 66 years, Gerald; daughter, Vanessa (Bobby) Fike of Kirksey; sons, Kerry (Sandra) Stone of Murray and Randy Stone of Dexter; six grandchildren, Clint (Tori) Stone of Murray, Kailey (Kyle) Starks of Almo, Amanda Stone of Addison, Alabama, Tyler Stone of Nashville, Tennessee, Chris (Emily) Fike of Almo, and Landon (Kennedy) Fike of Nashville, Tennessee; as well as 11 great grandchildren.

            Wanda was a retired beautician and former owner of the Country Store in Kirksey. She was also an avid golfer, painter, gardener, and cook. She was a member of the Glendale Road Church of Christ.

            A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 20, 2023, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home and Cremation Services. John Dale and Steven Hunter will officiate, and burial will follow in the Tucker Cemetery in Kirksey, KY. Visitation will be held prior to the funeral service on Wednesday, December 20, 2023, from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home and Cremation Services.

            She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
