Warren Shropshire

Mr. Warren Edward Shropshire, age 87, of Murray, Kentucky died on Monday, October 6, 2014 at Spring Creek Health Care in Murray.
Mr. Shropshire was born in Hammond, Indiana on November 24, 1926 to the late Benjamin Shropshire and Bertha Jacobson Shropshire. Mr. Shropshire retired from Kopperud Realty in Murray, Kentucky as a real-estate agent. He was a member of the Good Shepherd United Methodist Church and was a Navy Veteran of WWII.
In addition to his parents Mr. Shropshire was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Shropshire, who died on March 17, 2009; and by one brother, Vernon Shropshire.
Mr. Shropshire is survived by one daughter, Diane Harder and husband Steve of Hebron, Indiana; one son, Jim Shropshire of Murray, Kentucky; one daughter-in-law, Linda Majors Shropshire; as well as one grandchild, Ashley Shropshire of Murray, Kentucky.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 9, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. at the J.H Churchill Funeral Home with Rev. Kerry Lambert officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9, 2014 from 2:00 p.m. until service hour (3:00 p.m.) at the funeral home.
