Will Edd Travis

Mr. Will Edd Travis, age 76, of Murray, Kentucky, died on Monday, September 02, 2019 at the Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah.

Mr. Travis was born in Murray, Kentucky, on October 31, 1942 to the late Tom Edd and Venice (Jones) Travis. Mr. Travis retired from the Kentucky State Highway Department and was a member of the Green Plain Church of Christ.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Travis was preceded in death by one brother, Jerry Travis; and two sisters, Sue Taylor and Ora Belle Travis.

Mr. Travis is survived by his wife Faye (White) Travis of Murray, to whom he married on November 10, 1962; one daughter, Diana Travis of Murray; one son, Eddie Travis of Hazel, Kentucky; two brothers, Billy Travis of Dexter, Kentucky and LA Travis of Dalton, Georgia; as well as several nieces and nephews; and grand-dog, Joe B.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 5, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with Jonnie Hutchison and John Dale officiating. Burial will follow in the Green Plain Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 4, 2019 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home.
