Willard Mitchuson

Mr. Willard Mitchuson, age 83, of Dexter, Kentucky died on Thursday, February, 12, 2015 at the Murray Calloway County Hospital.

Mr. Mitchuson was born in Trigg County Kentucky on February 16, 1931 to the late Ed Mitchuson and Nelle (Colsten) Mitchuson. Mr. Mitchuson was a retired construction worker and was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his parents Mr. Mitchuson was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Lou Garland Mitchuson; seven brothers and three sisters.

Mr. Mitchuson is survived by two daughters, Sherrie Johnson and husband Anthony of Hobart, Indiana and Cheryl Sims and husband Russell of Valparaiso, Indiana; four grandchildren, Joshua Sims and wife Carri of LaPorte, Indiana, Anthony Johnson and wife Beth of Hobart, Indiana, Mitchell Sims and wife Amy of Eureka, Missouri and Andrew Johnson and wife Julie of St. Peters, Missouri, as well as six great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, February 15, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home, Rev. Kerry Lambert will officiate, and burial will follow in the Matheny Cemetery, in (LBL). Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 14, 2015 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill funeral home.
