William "Bill" Berg

Mr. William "Bill" Berg, 83, of Murray, Kentucky died Monday, April 14, 2014 at Spring Creek Health Care in Murray, Kentucky.
Mr. Berg was born in Chicago, Illinois on March 8, 1931 to the late Otis Berg and Edna (Arndt) Berg. Mr. Berg had worked in construction most of his life; a building contractor, a heavy equipment operator and a member of Local 150 for 59 years. He was a Navy veteran of the Korean Conflict.
In addition to his parents Mr. Berg was preceded in death by a brother, Jack Berg.
Mr. Berg is survived by his wife Helen (Walton) Berg, to whom he married on November 26, 1971 in Clarkton, Missouri; a daughter, Amy Berg of Austin, Texas; a step daughter, Greta Geller and husband Jack of Fairfax, Virginia; one brother, Robert Berg of Paris, Tennessee; and two step granddaughters both of Fairfax, Virginia.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, April 17, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with Pastor Matt Ellis officiating.
