Mr. William "Bill" Clendenen, age 74, of Murray, Kentucky died on Sunday, May 17, 2015 at Spring Creek Health Care in Murray.
Mr. Clenden was retired from Fisher-Price after more than thirty years, and was a member of the Christian Fellowship Church.
Mr. Clendenen was born on March 24, 1941 to the late William Zenith Clendenen, Sr. and Elsie Davis Clendenen.
In addition to his parents Mr. Clendenen was also preceded in death by five sisters, Jean Barger, Shirley Dick, Nancy Prather, Alice Clendenen, and Sondra Gail Clendenen.
He is survived by his wife, Lu Ann Clendenen, to whom he was married on May 30, 1985; one daughter, Kayla Lovett and husband Jacob of Murray, Kentucky; two sons, Jeffrey Clendenen and wife Vickie of Hendersonville, Tennessee and Cory Clendenen of Murray, Kentucky; two sisters, Becky Highfield and husband Ronnie, of Murray, Kentucky and Brenda Rigney and husband Lawrence of Madisonville, Kentucky; four brothers, Jim Clendenen and wife Carol of Benton, Kentucky, Thomas Clendenen and wife Carolyn of Murray, Kentucky, "Butch" Clendenen of Murray, Kentucky and Rick Clendenen and wife Debbie of Benton, Kentucky; three grandchildren, Zachary Clendenen and Clay Clendenen of Hendersonville, Tennessee and Millie Lovett of Murray, Kentucky.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, May 22, 2015 at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with Rick Clendenen and Richie Clendenen officiating. Burial will follow in the Murray City Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 21, 2015 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
