William French

Mr. William J. French, age 88, of Murray Kentucky, died Thursday, September 28, 2010 at 11:00 pm at the Murray Calloway County Hospital.
He was retired from the Keebler Company in Atlanta Georgia; he was a member of the Poplar Springs Baptist Church.
He was born May 10, 1922 in Eubank Kentucky to the late, William Joel and Gurtrude Gentry French; in addition to his parents he was preceded death two sisters and five brothers.
He is survived by his wife Dora B. French of Murray Kentucky; one son, Larry French and wife Sandy of West Union Ohio, one daughter, Doris Craft and husband Richard of Lebanon Ohio, three step daughters, Shirley Mitchell and husband Lane of Lexington Kentucky, Doris Fetters and husband Joe of Murray Kentucky, Charlotte Murphy of Manchester Kentucky; two sisters, Agatha Todd of Somerset Kentucky, Kate White and husband Vernon of Somerset Kentucky; three brothers, George French of Mason Ohio, Dale French and wife Hazel of Cape Coral Florida, Van French of Somerset Kentucky; eight grandchildren and four step grandchildren
Services will be held 11:00 am Saturday, October 2, 2010 at Poplar Spring Baptist Church, Rev. Rob Ison will officiate. Burial will take place at General Bowling Cemetery in Clay County Kentucky, Visitation will be held Friday, October 1, 2010 from 6:00 -8:00 at the J.H.
