William Tazz Futrell

Mr. William Tazz Futrell, age 56, of Murray, Kentucky, passed away Friday, January 17, 2025, at his home.

 Mr. Futrell was born on February 28, 1968, in Murray, Kentucky. William was a graduate of Murray High School. He worked for the Murray State University moving crew, was in maintenance for Glendale Place and for Community Youth Services.

 He was preceded in death by his mother, Wilma Thornton Futrell; grandparents, Tazz and Myrtle Thornton.

 Survivors include his wife, Hope Futrell of Murray, Kentucky, they married on September 27, 1985; son, Justin Tazz Futrell of Paducah, Kentucky; one sister, Annette Pridemore of Murray, Kentucky; one brother, Mark Wilson and wife Nissa of Hazel, Kentucky; two grandchildren, Hailey Marie Futrell and Clayton Futrell both of Murray, Kentucky.

 A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 21, 2025, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Bro. Joe Vance will officiate. Burial will follow in the South Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. till 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 21, 2025, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
