Mr. Willie Clayton Dick, age 90, of Murray, Kentucky, passed away on, Friday, January 12, 2024, at the Murray-Calloway County Hospital in Murray, Kentucky.


Mr. Dick was born on September 6, 1933, in Calloway County, Kentucky. Before retiring, he worked at Tappan for 40 years. Mr. Dick was a graduate of New Concord High School, a United States Army Veteran, and was a member of the Grace Baptist Church.


He was preceded in death by his mother, Veopal (Boggess) Dick Glover; father, Ellis Dick; one sister, June Taylor; as well as three brothers, LC Dick, Elsie Dick, and Rob Dick.


Survivors include his wife, Audie (Burton) Dick of Murray, Kentucky; one daughter, Suzanne Wilson and husband Bill of Paris, Tennessee; one sister, Eva Gream of Murray, Kentucky; one brother, Dewey Max Dick and wife Jerlyine of Hardin, Kentucky; one granddaughter, Lauren Poteete and husband Greg of Paris, Tennessee; as well as two great grandsons, Jack Wilson Poteete and William James Poteete both of Paris, Tennessee.


A public graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m., Monday, January 22, 2024, at the Murray City Cemetery with Bro. Sammy Cunningham officiating. There will be no public visitation held before the graveside service.
